Prayer precedeth
When I pray I sometimes get a phrase, a word or a thought that is like a puzzle for me to try and understand. As I was praying for this year’s London Prayer Loop I had the phrase “prayer precedeth”. When I looked up the word precede online on various dictionaries the words “ going before” stood out. So prayer goes before. Proverbs 16:3 says “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.” (AMPC) So what does prayer precedeth look like for the London Prayer Loop this year? As I prayed further I remembered the 24 sections of the London Loop and decided to commit to pray on Zoom for London focusing on a section each day in the leadup to this year’s London Prayer Loop on the 14th, 15th and 16th June. The Arise and Pray for London Zooms start on Tuesday 21st May and finish on Thursday 13th June. They are from 6.30am to 7am. You are welcome to join as you are able.
